WHICH DIAMETER IS RIGHT FOR ME?
Standard cooking and barbecue grills (like the ones you have in your oven) are made from 3mm diameter bar. This is the standard diameter for almost all BBQ grills and will be enough for most keen barbecuers using charcoal.
However if you are wanting a more industrial look, a stronger product, or to cook on wood – you may need to think about purchasing a cooking grill with a thicker bar. Our most popular product is the 6mm diameter barbecue grill.
Wood burns at a higher temperature than charcoal and if a 3mm BBQ grill is subjected to extreme heat for prolonged periods it may warp, therefore you may want to consider 6mm or greater.
NOT A STANDARD SHAPE?
All of our BBQ cooking grills are custom made to measure. We can produce your barbecue grate to any size and shape.
For complex shapes, we may require a drawing or template to ensure your replacement grill will fit perfectly.
